Last year I decided to have a detached garage/storage shed/workshop constructed.
I contacted several general contractors to obtain bids for the job. Some didn’t return my
Calls; others quoted ridiculously high prices without even asking for the specifics of the plan. Tim Strash at LMPI was the only contractor, who took the time to understand what I was trying to build and to explain the process to me, including design, permits, and construction. The county was slow with the permit process so while we waited I had Tim and his team, construct two additional patio roofs complete with skylights and ceiling fans, while matching the existing design elements of the home. Tim and his team also poured an additional 1000sq.ft. of concrete patio and walkways. Once the permit for the garage was approved the actual construction took less than 2 weeks, complete with water, electric, drywall and paint.
I would highly recommend Tim and LMPI. I’m very pleased with the final product but also how the work was done. I work from home and spend a lot of time on the phone which makes construction noise troublesome. Tim communicated with me each morning so I knew what would be happening and when, which allowed me to adjust my schedule accordingly.
